Meet Josh

Motivated by his desire to help people solve their problems and humbled by the lasting life lessons he received from his mother, Josh Anderson is a new kind of entrepreneur. Born and raised in Santa Rosa Beach Florida, Josh relocated to Birmingham Alabama in 2012. He first recognized the beauty of the upcoming Birmingham real estate market and brought his hands-on mentality to the city by establishing his first business in 2013– A 360 Repair. The business, now named Alabama Builders Group, Inc; specialized in remodeling residential homes and building new homes..

This opportunity opened Josh’s eyes to the world of real estate investment and the opportunities available for the everyday man. In 2016, Josh purchased his first tax property from a local investor. While the venture wasn’t immediately successful, it gave Josh the practice he needed to pave the road for others considering purchasing tax properties in Alabama.

From there, the world was his oyster, Josh founded Anderson Realty Group in 2017 and began flipping, renting, and owner financing homes throughout Birmingham. By the next year, he was buying and selling tax properties, and advising others on how to successfully do the same. By 2020, Anderson Realty Group helped the State of Alabama redeem roughly $1.5 million through its efforts educating buyers and brokering deals.

But why stop there? Fueled by the success of his business, Josh decided to tackle other issues that required fixing. He established Vulcan Payments in 2019 to offer credit card solutions and payment processing for local Birmingham businesses. By 2022, Josh wrote and published his first book, “The 12 Steps to Owner Financing Tax Properties in Alabama.” He frequently teaches classes for charities, and speaks to audiences regarding investing in real estate.

His many business ventures all come together as part of Anderson Now Enterprises, a conglomerate of businesses dreamed of by Josh and executed by his trusted advisors, friends, and team. None of his success would be possible without them.
